At BagPortrait, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund, and what to expect when you cancel your subscription.
Free Trial
New users receive free generation credits to try BagPortrait before subscribing. Since no payment is required for the free trial, no refund is applicable.
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- How to cancel: Through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal
- When it takes effect: Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
- Auto-renewal: Cancellation stops future charges; you won't be billed again
- Resubscribe: You can resubscribe at any time if you change your mind
Refund Eligibility
✓ Refunds ARE provided for:
- Technical issues that prevented you from using the service
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service unavailability for an extended period
- Subscription charged after cancellation
✗ Refunds are generally NOT provided for:
- Change of mind after using the service
- Partial month usage (e.g., cancelling mid-month)
- Generation credits that have been used
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated results (please try different images or prompts)
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal
How to Request a Refund

- Include:
- Your account email address
- Date of the charge
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or details
- Submit within 14 days of the charge
Processing Time
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within:
- Review: 1-3 business days to review your request
- Processing: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear
- Method: Refunded to your original payment method
Note: Your bank may take additional time to process the refund.
Disputed Charges
If you don't recognize a charge, please contact us first at support@bagportrait.com before disputing with your bank. We're happy to investigate and resolve billing issues quickly. Bank chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Special Circumstances
We review each refund request individually. If you have special circumstances not covered by this policy, please explain your situation and we'll do our best to help.
We may make exceptions for:
- Medical or personal emergencies
- Extended service outages on our end
- Significant changes to the service
